About Wisconsin Dance Theatre Conservatory

Behind the Movement

At Wisconsin Dance Theatre Conservatory we believe in an individualized approach to teaching each dancer.  Rather than a one-size-fits-all program, our teachers pay close attention to each dancer helping cultivate and refine their individualized needs as an artist and athlete. Students learn independence, discipline, and critical thinking through the art of dance. In our program, students participate in unique performance opportunities, dance history courses, interviewing and networking events, and much more. Our dancers learn all aspects of becoming a successful performing artist far beyond the technique. Dancers leave this program with the connections and skill set to pursue a career in dance and the confidence to achieve their dreams.

It's more than learning ballet, at WDTC we are invested in building a network of successful and motivated artists.

Success is built through consistent, meticulous work and refinement directed towards a clear goal.

Heather Curtiss

" I have worked with the owners of this company for several years and have always been impressed with their professionalism and dedication to the program. I am happy to have found a dance conservatory that emphasizes a healthy body and mind, with a positive personalized experience for each dancer. The focus is clearly to develop professional dancers with all the skills necessary to navigate a challenging field, including a priority on classical ballet technique and injury prevention, along with career skills to advocate for themselves in the future. The comprehensive focus for a young dancer is much appreciated! "
